Express

All FAK cargoes ex Tasmania were transshipped via Melbourne for
all destinations. Concept and design by Brett Charlton to consolidate
all shippers in order to maintain a FAK container service ex Tasmania
via Singapore to all destinations. Successful within three months
with 28CBM capacity fortnightly ex Hobart to Singapore.

Coordinate movement of 2 MI8 Helicopters from Darwin to Brisbane
then arrange inducement call to Dakar Africa for Sandline (PMC)
|
Working in conjunction with Mayne Nickless Logistics Customs Projects
division. Arranged loading and transport of 2 MI8 helicopters from
Darwin to Brisbane by road under strict media blackout to Brisbane
port. Coordinate with Wilhelmsen Lines to arrange inducement call
into Dakar, Africa. Supervise and report on loading onto vessel,
coordinate with load planners, confer with Sandline personnel on
configuration of helicopters for loading, assist with Mayne Logistics
Customs Project personnel with documentation to Australian Defense
Force. Successful project.

BOC Gas LPG tank from USA to Lae, PNG with AFS Projects and Logistics.
|
Coordinate the transport from inland USA of oversized LPG Gas tank
for BOC Gas LPG Plant in Lae, Papua New Guinea. Transport inland
USA to Houston Port through trucking, arrange survey at uplift and
port. Coordinate shipping with charter for Nappa Nappa Oil to accept
cargo. Arrange for transshipment in Port Moresby (ship to ship)
with surveyor in attendance. Arrange for unloading and transport
to site. Saved customer over A$100,000 through timing with charter
and had tank at site two days prior to official opening.

Delco Australia Pipeline logistics for installation of Pipe Line
for new wellhead for Chevron Nuigini.
|
Research and assist in preparation of tender document. Prepare
staging ground in Lae for receipt at port. Negotiate transport rates
and requirements for movement from Lae to Moro (Highlands PNG).
Confer with Delco personnel for timeline requirements. Receipt cargoes
at Lae wharf and move to staging ground. Co-ordinate transport to
site. Provide daily movement reports to Delco personnel. Arrange
alternative arrangements for over dimensional cargoes. Confer regarding
security requirements. Arrange and submit security documents for
guarantees for temporary importation. Assist in demobilization post
completion of pipeline.

Mobilization and Demobilization of Oilsearch Papua New Guinea
|
Arrange customs clearance for all goods into country for Oilsearch
for mobilization of new well head. Establish warehouse for storage
of mud chemicals and tracking and release thereof (250 containers
approx.). Upon failure of well strike, arrange for packing of containers
and break bulk items of all equipment to Batam Island via Singapore
as part of demobilization.

Chevron Nuigini
|
Oversee all import requirements for Chevron Nuigini in Lae Papua
New Guinea. Including customs clearance, tracking and reporting
documents, container management, assist in tender review documents,
implement new procedures as dictated by client, attend special imports
and photograph, survey and report accordingly, arrange for alternate
means of transport when road closed due to bridge washout or security
problems (IE: helicopter ex Lae airport to Morro site and charter
of coastal vessel).

Lihir Gold Mine
|
Oversee all aspects of container reefer management for Lihir Gold
Mine (on hire and dehire of containers, repair ordering for reefer
defects, reporting and tracking, payment of on hire costs and receipt
from client). Assist in preparation of tender document and presentation
to Lihir Gold Mine for Coastal and Import tender.

Porgera Gold Mine PNG
|
Establish and manage receivable warehouse for receipt and dispatch
of goods for transport to Porgera Gold Mine PNG. Consolidate container
to maximum capacity and provide weekly reporting and tracking.

AFL Freight Management
|
Established Bonded Store in Lae Port for receipt of FAK cargoes
(export and import). Confer and submit documentation to PNG Customs
and Quarantine for approval of site. Arrange and implement procedures
for reporting to PNG Customs. Implemented prior to departing PNG.

• Assisted in establishing a well known shipping line in PNG trade including
marketing, procedures, staffing, operations, scheduling, forecasting and
reporting.
• Managed a well known shipping line in PNG. Predominately with Coffee
trade. Marketed in Switzerland and Germany for the line. Forecasted and
reported on seasonal aspects affecting volume to head office in Paris.
• Established an operational office within 24 hours of old
office burning down in Lae Papua New Guinea.
• Arranged various charters for PNG Power from Lae port to
remote islands of PNG.
• Implemented and managed Cooltainers to the AFL Freight Management
Lae office with monitoring and reporting of containers.
• Assisted in implementation of coastal service between Lae
and Boganville.
• Secured Supply Chain Management client for Mayne Logistics
in Brisbane (containers ex Asia to all ports Australia for
fiberboard importer Big River Timbers). Included order tracking,
freight negotiations, reporting, warehousing, customs clearance
and delivery to end users.
